Greece

Dotting the countryside around Nafplio were tons of Mycenaen ruins. While we didn't enter the actual site of Mycenae (left) because of the New Year's holiday, we did come across baths, bridges, settlements, and ruins in nearly every place we visited

At one of our favorite stops, we were able to go into a domed tomb. It was enormous, with the typical lintel door. There was an area dug out in the floor that looked like it would be the perfect place for a coffin to have been. When we came out, we grabbed some of the oranges that were nearby. It was obviously the season, as we saw them all over the place, sometimes simply rotting on the ground.
