India

Current stop: Snake Charmer

We needed a food break after this much touring, so our wallah dropped us off at a really kitchy tourist spot for a bite to eat. Dad had had a dream about the horror of living in India and never having seen a snake charmer, so he was pretty glad to see this old man on the street.

Breck was a very willing participant, and amused all the locals and tourists alike. Of course, the payment demand started off at a pretty silly 300 rupees, but since it was 'after the fact,' there wasn't much wiggle room (ha ha) for the charmer, and we finally agreed on 40. Not bad, considering the exorbitant amount we paid for food afterwards!!
