As the Ganesh festival gets ready for its final evenings, I decided enough was enough. We’d been here three years, yet had not taken a family picture with Mumbai’s favorite Hindu god. After dinner, we went down to our local temple and – with the help of our famous neighbor – got our photo taken with one of the soon-to-be-immersed statues.
